Founded in 2022 by Valery Tan and Elmer Yap, Surety started as a contraceptive support platform but shifted focus to menopause care after identifying a lack of awareness in Singapore.

Valery was inspired by her mother’s struggle with perimenopause, while Elmer realized he knew little about menopause, even as his own mother experienced it. The startup is dedicated to breaking menopause stigma and ensuring women receive proper guidance and care.

Surety recognizes that most menopause information is Western-centric, which may not fully apply to Asian women’s experiences. To fill this gap, the platform offers:
